Our website will have a new visual identity. And it is not only our website. Our whole identity is transitioning into a new brand, which will represent us now from now on.

Under the management of Vale Cultural Institute (ICV), created in September 2020, four cultural spaces – Memorial Minas Gerais Vale, Vale Museum, Vale Maranhão Cultural Center, and Canaã dos Carajás Culture House – are now integrated into the common purpose of fostering culture and expanding the access to it. Our actions seek to provide people with more knowledge and multiple life and art perspectives. The reason for this is that we understand culture as an instrument of change, capable of impacting society positively, as well as building a legacy for future generations.

Our new brand reflects this purpose and introduces us as a part of the Vale Cultural Institute. In order to create the elements that would add to our identity, we considered architectural aspects of our historical building, filled with symbolism for the city of Belo Horizonte. Lines seen in our doors, windows, tiles, chandeliers and decorative objects were used as references and inspiration for the graphisms.
